This Privacy Policy explains how Yash Tours and Travels ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Who we are

Yash Tours and Travels plans and books travel — domestic and international tours, flights, hotels, and related services. To arrange these, we communicate with travel operators (such as homestays, cab providers, and rental services) and with travellers, primarily over WhatsApp (a Meta Platforms service).

2. Personal data we collect

• Travel operators: name, phone number, business name, and business details (services offered, availability, pricing).
• Travellers: name, phone number, and booking details (travel dates, destinations, number of travellers, and preferences) when you enquire or book.
• Communication content: messages you exchange with us over WhatsApp, email, or phone.

We collect only what we need to provide our services. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

3. Why we use your data (purpose)

• To contact travel operators about availability, pricing, and bookings.
• To plan, quote, confirm, and manage travel for travellers.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• To send service-related updates about your booking or request.

Communication takes place over WhatsApp, email, or phone, as appropriate.

4. Legal basis — your consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, as required under the DPDP Act. You opt in by messaging us on WhatsApp, sharing your details, or starting a conversation with us. Your consent and the request it relates to are recorded. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights); withdrawal does not affect processing done before withdrawal.

5. How we share data

• WhatsApp / Meta: because we communicate over WhatsApp, your messages and phone number are processed by WhatsApp/Meta to deliver messaging. Their handling of data is governed by Meta's own privacy terms.
• To fulfil your request: where needed to complete a booking (for example, sharing a traveller's basic details with a confirmed operator, or an operator's details with a traveller).
• Legal compliance: if required by law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted. We apply reasonable security measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

7. Your rights under the DPDP Act

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Opt out / stop messages: reply STOP on WhatsApp at any time, and we will stop contacting you.
• Access: request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to processing.
• Grievance redressal: raise a concern about how we handle your data.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts; this means your browser's IP address is shared with Google to deliver those fonts. No personal profile is built from your visit.
